 The objective of this Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth through investments primarily in well established international companies, within controlled and agreed levels of risk, and in an islamically acceptable manner. The Fund invests in large capitalisation companies in a verity of industries in developed, newly industrialised, and emerging markets throughout the world, including the US. The Global Equity Fund best suits those investors who seek enhanced appreciation potential over the long term and greater diversification for their equity investments, and who can accept the risks and volatility associated in investing in stocks. The Fund is managed by Merrill Lynch investment Managers (formerly Mercury Asset Management), the largest independent investment management firm in Europe, managing funds in excess of US$ 150 billion.
